Olden is a beautiful little village located at the mouth of the river Oldeelva in Vestlandet county and it is one of the most important cruise ships harbour in Western Norway with a popular destination for cruise ships, because of the breathtaking scenic beauty of the area. It is rated among the best cruise ship destinations in the world.
It is situated about 6 km southwest of the village of Loen and about a 16 kilometres drive southeast of the municipal center of Stryn. The small village has a population of about 505 people and beside the cruise port for you will find in it’s centre cafes, grocery stores and some clothing shops.
It’s the doorway to the Jostedal Glacier, Europe’s largest mainland glacier.
